During disaster mitigation and relief, authorities still have been conducting covid-19 tests for victims and aid workers.

‘’PCR test that was taken last night, I received its result this morning that I am positive of having covid-19…I don’t feel any symptom and this I did light exercise which was 8 km walks,’’ the three-star Army general said in a written statement.

He is now on self-isolation at his residence. Staffs that had joined Monardo during his visit to West Sulawesi and South Kalimantan were also tested and one of them is also having the virus.
