Floods, Landslides in Indonesia’s West Bandung, 9 People Missing

Durian. Torrential rains have triggered flash floods and landslides in Indonesia’s West Bandung regency on late Sunday evening, two people are wounded and nine others are missing, according to the National Disaster Mitigation Agency or BNPB on Monday, 25 March.

The natural disaster affected 99 households and caused the damage of at least 10 houses.

Nearly 200 residents have to stay in a temporary shelters as their houses are situated in danger zone, while the injured victims have been treating at a nearby medical clinic.

Search and rescue operations has been conducting to find the missing person. (***)
