Durian. Radin Inten II International Airport in Lampung will have soon a direct international route to Singapore’s Selatar Airport, serving by domestic flight carrier Wings Air, Indonesian Transportation Ministry said on Feb.2.
The plan is going to be implemented in the first semester of 2019. Radin Inten was declaring as an international airport in November 2018 during the visit of President Joko Widodo or Jokowi to the province.
“I urge the regional government to immediately create interesting tourist destinations to attract tourists from Malaysia, Singapore and other Asian countries,” Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi as quoted by the ministry’s statement.
Planning for the opening of direct international routes from and to Radin Inten International Airport aims to improve state income.
