Indonesia-Malaysia Sets to Conduct Malindo Darsasa Military Drills

Durian. This month, 131 personnel from Indonesia’s Army, Navy and Air Force’s special forces will participate in joint military drills, called Malindo Darsasa military drill, with personnel from Malaysia’s Military’s special forces, according to Indonesian Military in a statement on Friday.

On Thursday the 131 Special Forces’ personnel were briefed on the details of the drills at Indonesia’s Army Special Force’s (Kopassus) headquarters in East Jakarta.

Those soldiers are expected to participate in the military drills by considering that they are carrying the good image of Indonesia as the ambassadors of the nation and they must respect local wisdom during the drills.

In August and October last year, top officials from the two countries’ military have met to discuss and design the drill’s scenarios.
