Durian. Indonesian Navy confirmed on Jan.2 on the finding of a suspected submarine drone by a fisherman in the water near Selayar Island in South Sulawesi province.
The object was evacuated by a Navy ship on Dec.29 to Navy Base VI in Makassar, South Sulawesi, received by Commander of the base First Admiral Benny Sukandri.
‘’At this moment, it’s suspected as a drone submarine and still under examination. The result will be informed later,’’ First Admiral Julius Widjodjono told the Big Durian on Jan.2.
Information spreading in public that the drone belongs to Chinese authorities, however, Indonesian Navy still cannot confirm about it until the examination is resumed.
