Indonesia plans to start vaccination in January with total 3 million doses vaccines.

‘’Hopefully in the near future 15 million doses of bulk vaccine from Sinovac which later will be manufactured by Bio Farma to also arrive in Indonesia,’’ Minister Marsudi added.

The country of about 270 million people expects to get vaccine from other sources.

On Dec.30, it has signed supply commitment for the vaccine with the United States’ vaccine development firm Novavax for 50 million doses and British-Swedish multinational pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca for another 50 million doses.
