Durian. An Indonesian passenger flight operated by Sriwijaya Air from Jakarta to Pontianak in West Kalimantan has lost contact on Jan.9 aftenoon.
Flight SJ-182 is estimated lost contact around Thousand Islands, northern part of Jakarta.
“Sriwijaya Air has been communicating with various parties to find details related to flight SJ-182, routing Jakarta-Pontinak,” the airline statement said on Jan.9.
The airlines cannot provide data on manifest of the flight, but information spreading among journalists shows there were 56 passengers on board including seven children and three babies as well as six crews.
Search and rescue operation is ongoing to find the lost flight.
