Durian. Indonesian government condemns terror act that occurred in Nice, French on Oct.29, killing three people and wounding several others, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a statement on Oct.29.
“Indonesia conveys its sympathy and condolences to the victims and families,” the statement said.
A man stabbed three people to die with a knife in Notre Dame Basilica in Nice, where according to French President Emmanuel Macron who visited the crime scene on Oct.29 was an Islamist terror attack.
Police shot a male suspect, which according to French media is a 21-year old Tunisian migrant, and detained him.
Before the incident, a history teacher was beheaded near a school in suburb Paris in early October.
No Indonesian citizen was among the victims of the attack in Nice based on information from local authorities and Indonesian community that was gathered by Indonesian embassy (KBRI) in Paris.
There are 4,023 Indonesians living in French, 25 of them are in Nice and surrounding area.
