Durian. Indonesia will host the biggest Southeast Asia’s fitness, sports, music and lifestyle exhibition from Feb.22-24 at Jakarta Convention Center, the organizer said on Feb.19.
This year will be the sixth time of the annual event to be showed.
“This year, we will add music…for those who do not really like sports,but musics,” Dina Carol, CEO and a founder of GOIFEX said during a press conference, adding musicians such as Kahitna and Bambs bands will participate in the annual event.
Such kind of exhibition is the first in the region and originally from Indonesia. Therefore, the organizer wants to introduce the country’s original callesthenics SKJ88.
“Bekraf (the Creative Economy Agency) of course really supports this kind of event,” Triawan Munaf, head of Bekraf said.
There will be about 130 sport brands and 80 tenants to participate in the event which is expected 20,000 visitors to come compare to last year of 12,000.
Starting from this year, Tokopedia, an Indonesian prominent online shoping also participate. In the near future similar event is expected to be held in other countries such as Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore especially after getting a new partner Singapore-based World Net Exhibition (WNE).
“We hope to add value to Goifex in near future….bring the brand further and expand the event also in other countries. We’re already looking at Malaysian and the Philippines and maybe also Singapore in the very near future,” Rosalind Ng., CEO of WNE Group said.
