Durian. To support many Indonesian employees to be brave to speak English when dealing with their business activities as well as to boost their network, Oria Hotel in collaborating with TransforMe and Fokal.id have launched a Voice-Hub on Friday, 22 March in Central Jakarta.
The first session of the Voice-Hub that is using tagline Mastering Business Networking, was attended by business community members from private and state-owned companies, such as Pos Indonesia, Hutama Karya, Tekko and Urun RI.
By having Voice-Hub program, Oria Hotel can be used not only as a place to stay while visiting Jakarta, particularly Central Jakarta, but also to improve self-capacity, according to Oria Hotel General Manager Soesijanto.
TransforMe, a learning platform for human development, want to collaborate in the Voice Hub program as they want to eradicate obstacles faced by many in Indonesia’s entrepreneurs community such as communicating in English, according to its CEO Devfanny Aprilia Artha.
While, Nia Yunianti Rana, the founder of Fokal.id that has a business magazine, is willing to partake in the Voice-Hub program to connect business society.
“By having the Voice-Hub program, we hope people will know Oria Hotel not only as a place to stay but to empower themselves through business connectivity and English education,” General Manager Oria Hotel Soesijanto said.
Following Indonesian tradition to wish a good fortune, a tumpeng or yellow-rice-c0ne cut was marking the launching of the Voice-Hub program on Friday at Oria Hotel in Menteng, Central Jakarta. (***)
