Durian. Indonesia’s East Java Police arrested the owner skincare producer Glad Skincare for distributing cosmetic containing dangerous elements illegally.
“We have arrested one suspect, M. He has monthly income of Rp.1.6 billion ($113,780) from selling the cosmetic products,” Comr. Suryono, an investigator at East Java Police said on Oct.24 in Surabaya.
He said the company started distributing its products to market since 2017 under KLT brand. Police seized its products.
Those products did not have distribution permit and contain of mercury element. From police investigation, the skincare products were distributed in East Java only.
The suspect is charged under Indonesia’s Health Law and will face maximum 10 years of imprisonment if found guilty.
